Support for individuals and families who want clarity not complexity
Independent. Trusted. Compassionate.
Do you feel uncertain, anxious or overwhelmed by your financial situation? Have you been bereaved, divorced, or come into money for the first time? If you would like to feel more in control of your future, I can help you take the first steps – not by giving regulated financial, legal or tax advice, but by helping you make sense of your position and the professional advice you receive.
Finding peace of mind
I cannot remember a time in my life when I was not searching for peace of mind in my own affairs, so I am acutely aware of how difficult that is to achieve. The mainstream wealth industry is not designed to lead clients to empowerment. Complexity rarely supports clarity and understanding; it can, however, justify higher fees and sometimes questionable practices. The industry is also structurally incentivised to focus on money and assets, rather than on the people who own them or are responsible for them. While there are ethical, client‑aligned firms, many accepted incentive structures do not withstand close scrutiny.
Having watched everyone from sophisticated clients to my own parents struggle with the complexities of financial and generational planning, I came to see there was a real need for someone to help individuals and families get a clearer overview of their affairs and how all the pieces fit together.
Why people work with me
Most people do not have deep experience in all the disciplines that sit around their wealth. A “good” wealth advisory package can involve legal, accounting, banking, investment management, tax and other specialist input, each with its own jargon and assumptions. If you feel entirely on top of all these areas, you probably do not need my help. If, however, you find any of it confusing, stressful or emotionally draining, that is where I can add value.
I work with clients who see the value of advice and who want honest, open and engaging conversations about their own and their family’s future. My approach is calm, collaborative and people‑first. I focus not only on financial outcomes, but on helping you feel supported, heard and in control of your decisions – bringing together the technical and the human, while leaving regulated financial, legal and tax advice to your professional advisers.
